WHAT TO BRING TO THE NOTARY & APOSTILLE APPOINTMENT?
THE DOCUMENT(S) TO BE NOTARIZED
Bring the original document(s) that need notarization. The document(s) can be in English or other languages. Make sure the document is complete and ready for notary or Apostille. DO NOT SIGN the document just yet until in front of the notary.ACCEPTABLE IDENTIFICATIONS
Bring a valid form of picture identification to verify your identity. Acceptable forms of IDs include UNEXPIRED:- State-issued driver’s license or senior identification card
- US Passport or US Passport Card
- Foreign Passport
- Military ID or other government-issued photo ID
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS
If you are signing as agent or attorney-in-fact, bring the original Power of Attorney and copy the ID of the principal. If you are signing on behalf of an entity, bring proof of authority documents such as:- Corporate Resolution
- Articles of Incorporation or Organization
- Partnership Agreement
WITNESSES (IF REQUIRED)
Some documents may require both witnesses and notarization. If witnesses are needed, bring them along and ensure that they have proper picture identification.SPECIAL NOTARY INSTRUCTIONS (IF ANY)
If you receive specific instruction from the party or attorneys requesting the notarization and apostille, bring them to the Notary Appointment.
